In 2005 my beautiful wife and I were blessed with a child. We named him “Akatapu” which translates to “Blessing” in Cook Islands Maori, and he continues not only to bless us, but EVERYONE he encounters. At 16 he is blessing all of us through his guitar. Recently while playing a gig at the AVATEA CAFE, Aitutaki – Restaurant Reviews, Photos & Phone Number – Tripadvisor; one of our local residents Dr.Daniel Akaruru told Akatapu “I love your guitar playing, you play the guitar as if its an extension of your body”…….
